Отель Hotel Eleana, Лефкада, Греция

The room was big, comfortable and clean. The beds were excellent. The personnel were helpful and kind. The room was almost above the sewage drainage shaft. Every morning the smell from the sewage would enter the room making it unbearable. It seems that the sewage needed frequent drainage (drained twice while we were there) so for their comfort, they left the sewage pipe connected to the shaft under our balcony (picture attached). We talked to the hotel personnel, and they told us they never had any complain (!) but magically on the last day the smell went away. Also, the room had a kitchen, so it is expected to have a sponge and some washing liquid, which was missing. For the hands they provided soap bars and besides being a bit cheap, there was no place in the bathroom to place them so they were left next to the sink to melt….
