Hotel Omirico is located in very picturesque area, by the sea, the atmosphere is calm but at the same time lot's of bars, tavernas, shops are just behind the corner. It was very comfortable to get to every part of island by bus from Gouvia. Staff including cleaning are superb.

The location was excellent. 100m to beach and just off the main strip of restaurants and bars. You could use the facilities of the beach hotel and restaurant in front of the rooms. There was air conditioning and a TV as well as a fridge for keeping drinks cool. Excellent value for money.
I stayed in a single/budget room for 7 nights. The room was basic but fully equipped (TV, AC, fridge, mosquito repellent) with access to a private terrace with outdoor furniture. Loved the terrace, the trees and flowers, and the privacy. Check-in is provided next to the Ilada hotel. Extremely nice staff, altogether exceeded my expectations. The sea is a 5-minute walk away.
