Hotel Rene was very clean and comfortable. The balcony on our room had an amazing ocean view. We enjoyed the pool and lounge chairs. The property is close enough to town to walk to dinner and for shopping but far enough away to be quietly peaceful.

The warm, welcoming and exceptionally helpful staff, especially Thassos and Mod. The views, the pool, the wonderful breakfast and the Thai menu offered alongside basic European fare.

The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent value. We arrived towards the end of breakfast but they made fresh eggs and bacon for us.

Fabulous modern room and bathroom with absolutely amazing views from the balcony. Nice pool, everywhere was always nice and clean. Sotos was always very helpful and keen to please.

I cannot fault the Hotel Rene, the staff are amazing, drinks are a good price, food by the pool was nice and location amazing with unbelievable views. We were 3 friends staying in a room and was worried the 3rd bed would be a sofa bed and uncomfortable but it wasn’t, they bought in another single bed which was super comfy and the room was spacious enough for the 3 of us. The walk to and from Skiathos main strip is about a 10minute walk and is uphill on the way home but we didn’t mind this at all, especially for the views we had. We went early July and never had trouble getting 3 sunbeds together and hotel didn’t seem too busy. Would definitely stay again!
