Despina and Manolis were amazing hosts. They greeted us upon arrival, answered all our questions about what to see around Kefalonia, and treated us like welcome house guests. We only stayed for two nights, otherwise we would have made use of the lovely courtyard area they have for guests to relax and wind down.
Despina and Manolis are wonderful hosts, they made us feel like we were at home. The day started with breakfast in the garden with home made marmalade and fresh bread and fruit with yoghurt. Wonderful!

You will not regret staying at Kalypso in Karavomilos. With the most wonderful and welcoming hosts, our stay was perfect from start to finish - we stayed for 10 nights. The entire place appeared incredibly clean and well-maintained, and attention to detail was evident everywhere, which is always greatly appreciated. We felt very well cared for during our stay and would recommend Kalypso to all.
Despina is a lovely host! She brought us a beer and some crisps on arrival and was always there to give good advice on where to visit during our stay. She also provided beach towels for us to use and an umbrella whilst the heavens opened one evening. The location is great and its a lovely walk along the beach into Sami, where you can find a good selection of restaurants and bars. Our room was nice and clean and breakfast was amazing, especially Despina's homemade marmalade!
