The family that own the property are wonderful generous thoughtful people. The view from the terrace was amazing. Our room tho small was more than enough and had everything we needed and looked straight out to the terrace and the view beyond.

Good location and view of town, nice balcony and room, good AC and bed. Hosts were the highlight by far, who were very friendly and helpful. They provided a free water bottle and watermelon, and one evening, they had prepared home-made traditional Greek desserts for all guests!

We have stayed here for the past 5 years and the standards have always been exceptionally high. The family are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to make sure that you have an enjoyable and comfortable stay - nothing is too much trouble for them. Rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard and the shared terrace gives a perfect view over the bay and the sea front. We would wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone visiting Agia Effemia whether it is for 2 weeks or a few days.

Peter and Maria were the perfect hosts, when we arrived Peter showed us to our room which was lovely, there was a bottle of red wine, water and two cartons of juice in the fridge and some kefalonia nuts on the side, which was very kind, nothing was too much trouble, our aircon broke which we didnt realise but Peter put a brand new unit in the next day. on two occasion we were sat on the balcony when Peter arrived with cakes which Maria had baked which were gorgeous. Peter always checked each day that everything was ok. Sitting on the balcony at 6am each morning watching the sun rise over the bay was amazing, we had a fantastic holiday and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. On leaving Peter gave us a gift to remember our stay. Thank you Peter and Maria we will definately be back.

The view from the balcony is amazing, rooms were cleaned everyday and the hosts are so generous and friendly.
