The apartment has everything ones need in vacation, including washing machine. We enjoyed our stay very much, the place is silent, the view is beautiful (with olive trees, hills and sun). The Alikanas sandy beach is close, 400m. We heard the roosters in the morning, and the eggs from Gogo's mother were delicious. We would choose this apartment again, if we revisit Zakynthos.
If you enjoy staying in the heart of authentic, Greek countryside complete with donkeys,goats and chickens( like we did), then this is the apartment for you. Great host,great apartment- exactly as portrayed in the photos.
Location was spot on.A short walk to the strip and the beach. Excellent restaurant The Limetree just up the road and great beach bar Shoestrings a bit further up.
Ideal location in middle of the island to explore by car
Plenty of restaurants in Alykanas and Alykes to walk to in the evenings without having to drive.
The property is spacious, in a quiet place outside of the village of Alykanas,
Only 10 minutes walk to both beach and the village. It has airconditioning and parking space. The only downside is lack of pavement, but at the same time there is very little trafic, so its fairly safe.
The apartment is a few minutes walk away from one of the best beaches on the island. The host is very helpful in answering questions and providing extra support such as vacuum cleaner etc. Very spacious room and functional kitchen, very comfortable shower and nice balcony for sun bath.
