A quiet location but still easy to reach bars and restaurants around the port. Very close to Leonard Cohen's house, which was an added bonus. Traditional mansion with lots of charm and a view to die for!! Our host, Maria, was wonderful too - friendly, charming, helpful and informative!

Fabulous characterful apartment at the top of a typical traditional Idra mansion. All the amenities you could want and the beds are really comfortable. Huge windows looking out over the valley and village. Little balcony seating two in the front gets the morning sun as it rises over the hill - lovely shady porch to seat 4 at the back

Mansion Alexandri is in a great location. The location would be a bit tricky to find, but fortunately we were met at the port and taken directly to the accommodation. If you have anything more than light hand luggage, consider the offer of a luggage mule. Carrying bags up the steps of Hydra in the Greek sunshine was hard work. The accommodation is spacious and has a great view of the port from the small balcony. The double bed is comfortable and the apartment is light and airy.
