Staying at Mira Mare Studios was wonderful , and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Leipsoi . The host , Mrs Taxiarchia, is one of the kindest and most hospitable people I have met during my travels in Greece . The location is great , located close to the center of the village , with a beautiful garden in the front , and I felt right at home during my stay at Mira Mare . Thanks to Mrs Taxiarchia , I had an absolutely wonderful stay here , and I am sure that I will come back !
Absolutely loved staying at Mira Mare . Rooms are great and really nice location in the village/close to the port. The best part for me was the hospitality by the host Mira Mare . She’s so sweet and will take her time to bake , make coffee and offer you so many treats while staying with her . She taught me a lot about the island of Lipsi and become a true friend for me . Would 110% recommend this accommodation for anyone staying in Lipsi! Would give this rating 20 out of 10 if I could . Thank. You so much to Mira Mare and her family :)
Located on a quiet street on edge of the town but still only a very short walk to shops and restaurants. There is a mini market on the corner very close by. The facilities are not new but are well kept, clean and in good working order. For me better than a resort or something fancy because this is the real Greece and appropriate for the less touristy island of Lipsi. The owner picked me up at the ferry. She is extremely nice and welcoming, you will feel like you found your Greek mother you didn’t know you had. She fed me nice cakes and several plates of home cooked food. You will really feel at home here. The only negative was that sometimes I lost the WiFi and had to open the door to regain the signal. It probably varies depending on the room.
Location was great. Owner picked us up in her car, even though it is an easy walk from the ferry. Room was clean and comfortable with nice ocean view. Owner fed us cake on arrival and moussaka at dinner time.
