Location! Location! Location! If you are looking for a tranquil holiday, this is the place to be! Lazy mornings in the shaded veranda or a stunning sunset! You can have both! Close to the village but a car would help.
We had a wonderful stay! Our host welcomed us even though we arrived with the late ferry, which we really appreciated. She had left food and water for us, and gave us clear instructions about everything in the house. The house had absolutely everything we needed – fully equipped and very comfortable.
The view from the veranda was stunning! On the side, there were chairs and a beach umbrella that we could take with us, which was super convenient.
In the village, there are two stores that have everything you might need – just keep in mind they close for a break between 2 PM and 6 PM.
Our host also prepared a list with recommended beaches and restaurants, which was very helpful.
We’d definitely love to come back!
Our host was able to provide an early check in and had breakfast items for us and a very nice bottle of wine! The location was great with a short walk to the Australian pier and small swimming beach.
It's a new furniture house with a beautiful sea view. Everything is new and clean. Marianthe met us to give the keys although our late arrival hour with ferry from Alexandoupolus. She spoiled us with a chilled bottle of Limnos wine in the fridge upon arrival, some ice creams for the kids and some snacks for breakfast in the morning. You may feel the peace and calmness of the place, while watching the beautiful Lemnos sunset. There is a good bakery in Moudros, full of Greek pastry and a good tavern on the port. Moudros is in the middle of the island, so you can easily access all the places like the real desert, sediment rocks, kite surf beaches, Myrina and its castle and Panagia Kakaviotissa. Every place is within max 20-30 minutes drive. All the beaches are sandy and on most of them the municipality has assembled free tents and umbrellas. Be prepared for dirty roads to almost every beach. We really enjoyed our journey on the island.
The apartment, facilities and amenities are great.
The host as well, that went above and beyond to satisfy are our needs. Not to say they waited for us when we arrived really late at night!
