This seaside hotel is located in Maleme, only 164 feet from the sandy beach. It has a large swimming pool and a children’s pool, and also features a lounge bar. The air-conditioned studios and apartments at the Oliva Beach feature balconies with pool views. They come equipped with a kitchenette with a small refrigerator. Oliva Beach is located 2.8 mi from lively Platanias, and 11 mi from Chania. It is just 164 feet from restaurants and shops, and a hiking trail starts right outside the hotel.

The Oliva Hotel and Apartments are kind of like a boutique hotel, beautifully maintained and exceptionally clean like nothing I have seen in my extensive travels. The beach out front is terrible, but we used it as a base to see the most amazing beaches like Elafonissi, Balos and Fallasarna to name a few. Just a few minutes drive away is the touristy area of Palanias with restaurants and shops, about 15mins away is the quaint town of Chania with an Old Venetian. Port.
The unit was comfortable and had all we needed to prepare simple meals. The pool area is like a peice of heaven, so relaxing and secluded. We really enjoyed out stay!!
Located very close to the beach and restaurants, everything was clean and well maintained.

Great place if you are looking for something peaceful. There are 2 suoermarkets close and also few restaurants. We were there first week of September and although there was people, it didnt feel crowded. Love that the beach is 2 min walk and personally I enjoy a lil bit of waves, it does have pebbles but only when you are going in. Place has all basic things (and more such as books and games + on Sunday they were out of the oven cinammom rolls on the welcome desk) its also really clean. Responsivenes was great when we needed something
The location is superb. Quiet and well served property.
The place and the rooms are perfect for family with an infant. They provided us with a crib and there is a washing machine in the facilities.
The owner, Sophia, is very nice and helpful.
