Porta Suites is recently renovated and well equipped with the latest appliances, including a clothes washer. My suite was spacious. I enjoyed walking to the nearby market and to the walkway along the ocean. There are a few great restaurants nearby, and it's a 20 minute walk to Old Town. Staff were friendly and helpful during business hours.

The hotel was nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and comfortable. The location was great everything was in walking distance. Don't miss out on a beautiful sunset dinner at Manitu sunset bliss.

The facilities were great--best shower in all our trip. Roomy and updated, lots of natural light. Staff was also friendly and helpful. Bonus was the parking! Definitely needed if you have a rental car.

Porta Suites is beautiful. Our suite was comfortable and very clean. We didn't really cook in the kitchen, but we could have. The private terrace with its lovely sea view, hot tub and lounge chairs was a perfect place to relax.

Porta suites was great to stay at! The room was always so clean. They have so many amenities from laundry in the room, two balconies, the kitchen and living room were big, and their parking lot is gated to protect your car. The recommendations helped us find Peskesi and that was our favorite place to eat in Heraklion.
