Perfect stay! This is where we first landed to begin a 3 week road trip around Crete. The unit is clean, bright, and elegant. We enjoyed all of the amenities and our hosts thoughtful touches. The neighborhood is rustic and there are a few abandoned homes in the neighborhood, but that is consistent with every village on the island, and not any cause for concern. Our cab driver had no issues locating the property. The location is amazing for walking to all the major attractions, venues and shopping/dining areas within the city walls. We even walked to the port to pick up our rental car. The breakfast vouchers were easily redeemed at the chic boutique hotel restaurant one block away.
Unfortunately because I made an error during booking- I could not stay at the hotel. However I did see the inside of the beautifully renovated rooms and observed their cleanliness. As the hotel was booked, and I had arrived a day early by mistake Miron kindly helped me find another hotel (even arranged for the other hotel owner to pick me up). Moreover, he gifted me a breakfast voucher for the following day. He was extremely kind and helpful.
