I loved the view; we had a panoramic view of the ocean. The owner is very sweet and accommodating when we had an issue.
We loved how everything was close by; Plakias is about a 10 minute drive and there are restaurants right under the hotel (5 minute walk).
The WiFi is very fast. My husband and I had 3 devices connected to the WiFi.
Breakfast was nice and simple ; they offered eggs, spinach pie, sausage, pastries, fruit, yogurt, sweet, pastries, cereal, and a variety of different coffees to choose from a machine.
The rooms are immaculate and nicely furnished with exposed wood beams and french windows, and both the room and our private patio were comfortable with grand views. The hotel has a beautiful forever pool, and bar, and in the morning puts out a fine breakfast spread featuring a broad array of Cretan delicacies, we thought a good value (a charge was incurred for this.) Myrthios is known for several excellent restaurants which did not disappoint, and is an excellent base to exploring the southern Cretan coast around Plakias, which is an easy one mile hike down the hill. Our host Bellisario(sp?) was most helpful in everything including excursion ideas.
We spent a night in one of these wonderful suite, which had a magestic view! Our suite had a bath spa, new traditional stylish and modern furniture, TV, double comfortable bed with good mattress and air conditioning. The windows, when closed, could ensure perfect silence. For dinner, you have many options at hotel restaurant. Perfect for stay if you are a couple like us.
Stefanos Village had the most wonderful sea view of all other hotels around the Myrthios village and it's only a few meters distance from the beach of Plakias. Room was traditional but luxury and elegant with a balcony overlooking Plakias Bay. Hotel had also a super clean and spacious outdoor pool with free sunbeds.
Calm clean great setting and hospitality. Sea breeze and tranquility! Great, beautiful and clean suites with spa bath and hotel's bar. The ambiance and ability to either chill and stay low or socialize and meet up with friends is great, comfort and class all in one.
