Nice location (just a road separating the place from a nice beach, short walking distance from the old town center). Very nice and helpful hosts (gave us two keys even without us having to ask, gave several nice suggestions about places to visit, and last but not least kindly printed for us the nuissant RyanAir boarding passes that have to be generated and printed out in the last 24h before the flight). Also, it was very quiet during the night, as the apartment (at least the one we stayed in) faces sideways, away from the road with all its cars and pedestrians.
A late arrival wasn't an issue. Warm welcome and no rush. The location was excellent, just across from the beach with lots of choice of lounge areas. Only a few minutes walk from the main restaurant and bar area, close but not too close. Supermarkets very close by.
Very clean, room serviced daily if required. Bed very comfy, extra pillows provided. There was a small issue with the shower, but that was fixed within 15 minutes.
Excellent value for money. Would I return? YES!
Great location right opposite the beach and a short walk to the centre of Rethymno. The apartment is small but exceptionally clean and equipped with everything you need. The host was super helpful and welcoming and made our short stay very enjoyable.
