Lovely apartment and the view from the balcony really is exceptional! The owner and his family were very helpful and friendly and made me feel at home. I found the bed very comfortable. I liked that the owner and his family live next door, because I knew I wasn't on my own. Beaches very nearby and it takes about 10-15 minutes to walk to "central" Makry Gialos - I didn't have a car, which wasn't a problem at all. The owner even helped me to get a ride to Ierapetra, which was much appreciated. Makry Gialos is a lovely, relaxed place.

This apartment has one of the best balcony view I have ever seen! Sunset over the sea and mountains was absolutely phenomenal. Near apartment is also very good restaurant and beautiful beaches (5min by car). Apartment was clean and good looking.
