The hotel, while a bit far from the beach (15-20 minutes walk up / downhill), is excellent. I do have to say that you are a short walk away from the center of Afytos and all the taverns you could want, so I cannot say that the location is bad, just not close to the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful, everyone from the cleaning ladies to the reception team. The food at the restaurant, while not so varied, was prepared with care and a lot of flavour. The pool is extremely well kept and the service is great. The cold free water is a much appreciated bonus, especially in the hot August days, when we stayed. I cannot express how surprised we were with the quality of service here. I would definitely recommend it and would stay again in a heartbeat.

My friend and I absolutely loved the hotel! We organised a couple of days as a girls trip and were left in awe of how friendly the staff were, how much variety there was offered at breakfast (and how delicious it was), how new and clean all facilities were and the great location of the hotel! It's located right next to the main road between Afytos and Kallithea which makes entering and exiting the village very easy. Don't let this bother you upon the hotel choice because the hotel is extremely quiet and we didn't hear any noise. One can reach the centre in less than 15-minutes of walking. Our room was extremely clean, spacious with a bathroom almost as big as the whole room, cool and with a great view to the pool with a nice balcony. There were almost always free parking lots right in front of the hotel too. The staff were always ready to assist us with whatever questions we had and recommended a lovely restaurant to dine in! We'll definitely return!

Verano is the place to be in Afytos! The position is great, max 10 minutes walk to the main square, shops and restaurants. Has a nice pool and quite enough parkings available. The staff of Verano is exceptional, here to mention Kostas and Anna along with the girls serving around, not to forget the Chef cooking the delicious breakfast with so many options and other dishes, to the ladies keeping the rooms clean, all of them with a generous smile. Everything is very clean, the service is great, kids friendly hotel , pool well maintained as well, we spend couple of days just hanging around by the pool. In one sentence, I would say that at Verano, we found the maximum level of Greek hospitality properly demonstrated. Thanks to all Verano staff for making our vacation great!
