The property is beautiful. Well kept potted plants and pool area - basil, mint, jasmine, sage everywhere. Very sweet and helpful hosts. Comfortable beds! The photos dont do it justice. Will definitely return.

The villa was huge! The pool was great. Sweet-smelling jasmine flowers floated into the room. The available breakfast was lovely. And the staff was amazing!

The owner came to greet us with a smile after midnight despite our original ETA to the property of 4pm. He shared a plate of grapes and tsipouro. All of the units in this quaint hotel open to the center courtyard and pool. The units are large by Greek standards for the traditional experience (not the 5* catering to those who prefer large resort style properties). Kitchen is sufficient to cook a meal, which could come in handy if the kids want to cool off in the pool at the end of a hot day while dad or mom prep a meal. Decor is warm and within keeping your f the Cretan feel. There is sufficient semi-private seating, and a cafe for breakfast and beverages during the daytime hours. The walk to the town square is 5 minutes where. This mountain village is an underdeveloped gem within 20 minutes of Heraklion. Traditional Greece awaits here!
