The location is great, quiet, away from the crowds of Fira and Oia but within a short driving distance, like anything else in the island. The views all over the property from the room to the road up and down Villa Maria are breathtaking. Breakfast was amazing, and the room was clean, beautiful and comfortable. But my favorite part about this place (besides the cat that spent some time giving us attention) was Vaso, who welcomed us the day after our late night arrival during breakfast, gave us recommendations of restaurants, beaches, scheduled our sunset boat tour, made us a dinner reservation when we asked for help and offered a to go breakfast bag with a beautiful note I am keeping as a memory of this trip.

We loved EVERYTHING about this property. Seriously, everything. Here we go: - The staff was extremely friendly. Upon arrival, we parked, went to reception, got the keys, and got a quick walkthrough of the room and the property. Awesome. - The property sits on the edge of a cliff, but never once did it seem too high or scary. We only saw this when looking at the property from far away. - The room was very clean and well maintained. - The bed was so soft and comfortable. I was very sad to lose this when we checked out. - The breakfast was... *chef's kiss*. It was the perfect way to start our Greek vacation. It had great variety, but also having breakfast on the veranda overlooking the caldera... just... wow. Overall, the stay was incredible, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
