Amazing location, upon the hill, with nice view and still close to the beach (5 mins). There is also a store near the villa.
The apartment is big, has all the mentioned facilities and more of a traditional vibe, exactly as in the presentation pictures. The best part of the ground floor apartment is that you can enjoy the entire beauty of the garden. This was the first trip for my parents in Crete and they had an amazing time. The host was really nice and helpful and the apartment was kept very clean.
Everything was perfect, a very beautiful location with wonderful hosts.
The location of Villa Merabello is absolutely brilliant in my opinion. The reason for this is the fact that the villa is located a bit higher up the hill (about 200m from the main road) which makes it a bit more peaceful, but at the same time there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within a walking distance. It is also close to the Agia Marina beach which was lovely.
The location was fantastic close enough to the beach and the main road where you could visit it easily if you wanted but not so close that you were directly affected by noise etc.
The location was also close to a lot of incredible food options which we ate plentifully and had a fantastic time. Kostas, the host, and the cleaners were all very polite, communicative and kind and it was a fantastic experience overall.
