Maria is a fantastic host, she was very responsive to any questions, and left a bottle of wine for my sister and I to enjoy, then brought us a local cake to try. The apartment is beautiful and in a great location. My flight arrived after midnight and I was able to easily reach the apartment by public transport, arriving at 2am. My sister had already checked in. The area is well lit and I felt completely safe walking from the bus stop. Maria left charging plugs and cables with adapters for a variety of phones, soap and shampoo, toothbrushes, plenty of towels, everything you could need. I would love to come back to Athens and would definitely stay at Maria's apartment again.
The apartment was just as advertised :-), clean and comfortable. It's in a nice, quiet, residential area with a few restaurants nearby. A bus stop 5 minutes walk away gets you to the centre of Athens in 10 minutes.
