It is clean. It has a beautiful swimming pool. The owners have their collection of animals caged and on display. It's like a private zoo. They have snakes, turtles, iguanas, spiders and even a hawk that they rescued. They have well behaved dogs and cats, even a rabbit. I don't travel with my dog so I was happy to meet a new friends.

Pet friendly, close to the beach and restaurants.
I stayed in the hostel area of the hotel, and it was awesome! The bed was very comfortable, and the shower had hot water, with really good pressure.
The Canadian family owners. So helpful and warm and welcoming. Ian had us looking forward to the local sights more than any other host anywhere in the world!
The new hostel area is amazing... if you need even more budget than it is anyway, ask for a bed in the hostel!
The kitchen was great.
Loved the snakes and iguanas... just glad they had a cage.
