Basically you get what you pay for. Relatively simple facilities, rooms not really new or in great condition, but pretty decent price, and relatively close to everything you need. Walk to shopping/restaurants 5-10 minutes, and walk to the falls maybe only 20-25 minutes.
The location was super convenient to the Main Street in Victoria Falls! The property had a super fun atmosphere, we enjoyed sitting outside after enjoying activities around town. The staff was all very friendly and helpful!
Great Place for anyone who visits Victoria falls. Staff were really great and friendly. Food was good, and the place was clean and comfortable. Great location close to town and also can walk to the water falls in 10 minutes or so. Many restaurants in town close by.
Central location within walking distance to most anything in/around Victoria Falls town. Bed was very large, comfortable in the private room, hot water was hit/miss depending on time of day. Food selections were ok, no more over-priced than anywhere else in the area, and with ease of using credit card (which is not possible in most other places nor can anyone ever make change if using cash!) However, best part was the people - whether staying in the facility, locals hanging around, or staff. Anne was especially very helpful with communications and I should have booked all activities through her rather than the run-around I got with a package deal through another agency. Thabani was also very helpful as the on-site person coordinating taxi and transfer services. Even if priced a little higher, it's worth it just for their trustworthiness and your peace of mind!
I really like the environment of the hostel in the day time and in the evening. It's a lush rest camp in the day time and it's filled with lively African music in the evening. Staff are helpful and efficient. They get me an SIM card in no more than 10 minutes, which saves me a lot of troubles. Supermarkets, and restaurants are within walkable distance.
