Our stay at John's Homestay was so warm and heartwarming. The cozy comforts, like the reliable hot water and electric blankets, kept us toasty in the cool climate. But it was Ali's genuine hospitality that truly warmed our stay. He's a fantastic conversationalist and an invaluable resource for planning your Kashmiri adventures. I was impressed by his family's kindness too - when I couldn't find the key to my suitcase's lock, Ali's brother helped me break the lock.
And there's a beautiful little tom cat, who is so friendly and cuddly! He was the cherry on top our cake during our stay here.
There's literally nothing bad I can say about this place. Everything was amazing! I recommend this place to all fellow travelers.
Very friendly host, always willing to assist with whatever you need very quickly. Place is a bit out of the way, but quiet and still easily accessible to places around Srinagar. Shower got very warm very quickly!
super clean home with nice facilities. very lovely family who will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and happy no matter what. they even cooked us homemade dinner and breakfast before dropping us to the airport the next morning!
Where to begin?!This hostel /homestay is so warm and welcoming!! Sitting Kashmiry style in the common area right next to the kitchen waiting for and enjoying warm and delicious meals ...easy flowing conversation or movie(s) night!!!I have stayed in countless hostels but I just love the vibe of this place!I! I chose it because it was close to the airport planned to just stay for 1 night and find something by the lake but no way!!!Much better to stay here in peace and quiet and walk to dal lake when you want!Dorm beds very well organized!Could go on but I will stop here...oh and they rent motorcycles!!!Good hot water!
Clean and well facilitated place with very friendly host. Its close to the airport and is pretty peaceful. There’s a garden area where I could do bonfire and play music. Theres a very cute cat too which for me was a pleasant plus✨
