This is an old hotel but very good. I had superior double, good size, clean, kettle, fridge, AC & fan. Hotel in excellent location for walking to main CBD shopping streets & main tourist, gardens, parks & interesting sights. Very good breakfast, mainly Indian but plenty fruit, toast & jam.
I loved the cleanliness and staff were well behaved.
Only lights inside the room was dull. One was not working.
Should have been little bright
Otherwise no issues as such.
Breakfast was excellent.
Locality was was very nice and clean environment.
Definitely will plan next visit in the same hotel.
It was clean and all the amenities were provided. The property is quite old however they have maintained it .
Australian traveller here for a week - I think all the 10's I checked above tell you about my experience here. What was likely a quite upscale design in the 1930's when constructed has mellowed with age into the perfect location for travellers who like some character, don't expect everthing to be perfect, and enjoy connecting with the folks who run the place. Great value all round. Oh, and the included breakfast dosa's and coffee are a delish and perfect start to the day :)
Break fast was great. Staff very cooperative Front office manager took action right way if any complains. the manger was always available even for small issues. The front hall spacious and clean
