The room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom also delivered as per expectation.

This is a good budget stay near Velha Goa. Everything about my stay and engagement with the owner/managers exceeded my expectations. Blaize & Bessie are highly communicative, friendly and extremely helpful. They were attentive and always available either via WhatsApp or in person.
The rooms available are at the rear of the family home and are accessed by walking through the owners house and up a set of external steps (see photos). This approach may be a little disconcerting but, fear not, the room is just fine. The room I was allocated had a/c and a fan which was welcome, it was unexpectedly spacious. The room shares a clean, well equipped bathroom with two other rooms.
The property is about 20 mins walk from the centre of Velha Goa, restaurants and the historical attractions.
Very clean, and the owner speaked with us in portuguese.
