My room was just on the river bank and i can just sitting there watching the river whole day.
Property was clean and overlooked the river view. My stay was excellent, and I also booked the jungle trek with them. It was absolutely amazing, and it was their own business. So it was a small group. Ricky and Anto were great with taking care of us. You should really try this activity! It’s very very worth it, and rest assured you are in good hands.
Great to support local business, Alek and his family were exceptional and took great care of me during my stay in Bukit Lawang. I showed up and had a nice, clean room waiting for me and they even got me into one of their tours the next day. Nabil and Dandy were our guides and they made the trek fun while being professional, never missing a beat. The food they prepared for us on the trek was great and they knew tons of cool info about the jungle and wildlife
Alek and Nabil are really great hosts who are Bukit Lawang's second best feature after the orangutans! The balcony has a lovely view out over the river and the location is perfect in amongst the locals.
Alek and his son Nabil are super friendly and great hosts. The tea served on arrival is a nice touch! Alek helped organise a shared taxi from the airport that was super easy and the Jungle Trek with SeeBukitLawang was an amazing experience! Great place to stay before and after your jungle excursion and they have a lovely view over the river in between all the village shops and restaurants. Room is basic but the bed is super comfy and you have a whole double room to yourself!
