Beautiful cute homestay located with beaches on either side. The beach is completely empty and the entire homestay is very quiet. The location is very convenient if you plan on visiting Piaynemo, Rufas or Star Lagoon. Prices for excursions were reasonable for Raja Ampat, especially considering that we were the only guests. The staff was friendly and eager to help. We were especially pleased with them arranging a trip to Wayag for us, including a stay at another homestay and pick-up. They really went above and beyond to make this possible! For this arrangement, you need to contact them upfront, however it is worth it if they offer you to stay at Coco Huts. The food was good and had variety. - we especially enjoyed the donuts! Although the amnesties are as basic as should be expected, they are in good condition and very nicely set up.

We stayed 4 nights at Or Mandira Homestay, and it was probably our favorite stop on our entire Raja Ampat trip. Though there are four bungalows, we were the only guests staying so it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. You can't beat the location. It sits on a thin strip of Piaynemo Island so you have access to both coasts though the resort itself faces west. It's only a 15-20 minute (very affordable) boat trip away from all the best snorkeling spots (Rufas, Napolean, Fam Wall, Melissa's Garden) as well as the Piaynemo viewpoint. There were always 2 or 3 guys from the resort with us on all of our excursions and were never far from us in the boat. No network connection, but there is wifi when the electricity is on in the evenings (and sometimes in the afternoon). Basic, clean bungalows with a hammock. Simple home cooked meals for lunch and dinner, pastries for breakfast and snacks. Overall, our stay was excellent!

Thomas and his family take very good care of their guests. The location is beautiful and the food is very good. The housereef is excellent with residents blacktips, stingray and all the other usual suspects. It is wonderfully quiet especially because there is no cellphone reception. They have good boats to take you to different locations around the islands at prices that are very reasonable for Raja Ampat

very authentic Papua family who run the place. the location is absolutely great, also just in front of the beach a nice coral garden, beautiful swimming area just before. The family gives enough food to fill all, also well cooked. A shared bathroom was probably overlooked by me when booking so I do not blame anyone for that. The huts are equipped with moskito nets which is nessesary (probably depending on season.) good selection of trips, nearby and far. fans of a rustic Robinson-Crusoe feeling have a good time there.

I really enjoyed my 5 days here. I was the only guest, so I had the whole beach (several kilometres long) to myself, which was fantastic. And at night all I could hear was the soothing sound of the ocean waves. The beach is just a few seconds away from the bungalow. Because it is by the sea, the waves are quite big and the breeze is a blessing in this otherwise quite hot place. And because the beach faces west, I saw the best sunsets in Raja Amapat. As for the accommodation, it is basic, but I had everything I needed. The food was delicious. The family helped me with everything. The father took me wherever I wanted to go and even gave me some tips, which turned out to be the best snorkelling I had in the area (Napoleon Reef and Fam Wall). He even climbed a palm tree to get me a fresh coconut. So I am really happy about everything and I recommend you to visit Or Mandira too.
