Location was unbeatable. Right on the beach with first class views of the sunrise, sunset and horses buffalo and locals as they went about daily life. Absolutely stunning authentic experience set in luxurious design and stylish interiors. Exceptional welcome, the owners enjoying the surf everyday and inviting us to join made it all feel so wholesome and heartfelt. This place is more than a hotel, it’s someone’s love letter to the island of Sumba and the passion project is infectious. Didn’t want to leave this serene and magical place: thanks for having us !
Location was beautiful and the staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating to any needs we had. Food was good and breakfast was included which is always a bonus! Loved watching the buffaloes walk along the beach in the mornings and afternoons.
It's an amazing area to visit, the beach house itself, beach, local villages are all really interesting. Loved watching the buffalo herd roam past on the beach. Staff are lovely and helpful.
This property was incredible. Located right on the beach in front of a fun surf break. The rooms were simple and very nicely finished. Beds very comfortable and spacious bathrooms, that were all cleaned twice a day.
The staff were all so warm, welcoming and accomodating. Always smiling. The food was delicious and a good variety.
The pool and seating areas overlooking the ocean were perfect.
Our two young children loved it here also.
We can’t wait to come back again!
Gorgeous hotel situated on a stunning stretch of beach in West Sumba. Beautiful, comfortable, cosy. The kitchen and bar served a decent, if limited, range of vegetarian options.
