Everyone there treated us very well. Eka was very welcoming and provided a welcome drink. Gusti delivered our belongings to the room and gave us ample information about the location and recommendations. Ade and Ami were both incredibly helpful and accommodating in every way. It truly feels like you're being pampered staying here. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to be close enough to Ubud but experience a unique and tranquil luxury experience.
Uma Kalai made my honeymoon experience so memorable - it was the best place we stayed at in Bali. The private villa was beautiful, new and clean. We had a small pool and the pool was always heated, the bathroom was so big complete with a steam room. I was amazed as to how quickly our room is cleaned - we would go eat breakfast for an hour and in that time our beds would be made, the curtains drawn, the daybed set up etc. etc. There were also practically no mosquitos or bugs which is incredible given the lush greenery. Truly a paradise. Ayu, Ami, Ade were also so so kind and helpful. Food was delicious and they offer a lot of activities that we booked through them such as the Mt Batur hike. Best hotel/resort I've ever stayed at, I would 100% re-book if I came to Ubud again.

This property is amazing. The location, views and landscaping are all gorgeous. We wanted to stay in a villa but wanted resort amenities and Uma Kalai did not disappoint. They have a full restaurant and bar that serves food all day/night, peaceful lounge areas, a wonderful spa (the massages were great) and even shuttle to take you to Ubud center. The staff are attentive and polite, every request was handled immediately. After a few days, we started to feel at home. A special shout out to Gusti and Ami who really went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special, thank you!!
