My Co-Workers are from the UK and we loved the Hosts, Heidi and Des, they were the friendliest, kindest and most welcoming people that we had ever met. We were late arriving and they accommodated us and stayed to welcome us to the property.

Really enjoyable and unique stay! It's in a very quiet area but still close to Skibbereen so that was convenient. Heidi and Des were lovely, accommodating hosts and great at getting back to any queries promptly. The apartment was much bigger than we expected and had an amazing garden area. We loved spending time petting the dogs and cats as well. Definitely looking forward to booking again if we can!

it was out in the countryside but town was accessible by taxi allowing us to not have to drive the curly roads at nite after a couple glasses of wine

It was such a homely grounded living space from the moment you entered. The wooden surfaces and furniture and the well decorated rooms were a treat. The nod to music, books and film really helped enhance the already relaxing vibe. We discovered the garden the next morning which was exceptional and so interesting. Desi was beyond nice and welcoming. I would highly recommend for families.

Wonderfully comfortable homely feel. A lovely warm welcome from Des, who also provided great information about places we might like to see. Beautifully clean. Good size rooms. Had been "warned" about the narrow steep stairs to upstairs bedroom & they were & they led to a wonderful "retreat". Very responsive & helpful hosts. Heidi had tips of places to go too. Driftwood was a wonderful place to have as a base for our daily adventuring.
