The room was large and comfortable. The hot pots near the hotel were wonderful. The property is in the middle of nowhere and peaceful. The dining room reminded me of an Adirondack lodge. Beautiful. Dinner and breakfast was fabulous. Very friendly staff. We used the hot pools before breakfast and that was a treat.
Worth the drive down the fjord. Room was cozy and amenities were fantastic.
Wonderful people, animals, location, accommodations, food. It was magical.
The place was amazing! It felt cozy, the food was amazing, the pets were adorable, we went swimming in the midnight and watched aurora, did some hiking and simply relaxed. One important thing to note is if you are arriving here during winter, expect a difficult driving as you will need to pass mountains with slippery road, so be sure to rent a 4x4 SUV or Jeep.
What a wonderful, charming, warm, and inviting place to stay in the Westfjords. They have their own hot springs on site, lovely, warm rooms, and a charming central restaurant area where they serve breakfast and dinner, both of which we greatly enjoyed. The staff is fantastic, friendly, kind, and helpful. Just a great stay!
