Set in a renovated farmhouse in the southern town of Fljótshlíd, this guest house offers views of the Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull glaciers. Free WiFi, an outdoor hot tub and a furnished terrace with a BBQ are also available. Individual modern décor and furnishings are provided in each of Fagrahlíd Guest house's rooms and apartments. Guest house Fagrahlíd's daily breakfast buffet includes organic produce and homemade bread and cakes. During summer, a soup supper can be arranged on advanced request. Bicycle storage and a drying room are also available on site. The ferry terminal to the Westman Islands is 16 mi away, while the town of Hvolsvöllur is 4.3 mi from the guest house. The host is a lovely lady that met us upon arrival and showed us everything in the apartment and how to reach her if we needed anything. She also offered to dry our laundry as it was a wee bit rainy.
The beds and linens were very comfortable and the bathroom was roomy and nice shower with plenty of water.
We found the kitchen stocked much better than most of the places we rented.
We managed to enjoy a glass of wine provided by our hostess on the little patio outside and enjoyed the view of the country side.
Beautiful scenery, my kids loved the dog and horses and rope swing!

Absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful setting. Almost stayed in Vik but so glad we stayed here instead. We got wine and a cheese plate and enjoyed the porch and views one evening. Would highly recommend.
Very nice property for good money. Place was clean, warm even in a bad weather. Well equipped with all amenities you need for a stay. The lady, probably the owner, was very nice and kind upon our arrival and she showed us everything. Definitely recommend this place.
