Our host was amazing. The guesthouse was a great little place that was in town and made walking to grab a bite to eat or visit the beach easy. I would recommend staying here!
We loved the homemade jam and cheese the owner left for us in the fridge. Great facility for family, made walking to most things easy. Great communication. We loved our stay here.
Gudrun was a wonderful host. She was responsive and shared information about where to go and what to do in Vik. We loved her delicious homemade rhubarb jam and cheese that she had prepared for us and she even had an Icelandic ice cream treat for my kids. We appreciated these thoughtful and sweet gestures of hospitality.
Her apartment was clean, cozy and conveniently located. It was well-stocked with cookies and crackers and the kitchen was also well-equipped as we cooked all our own meals while in Vik.the location was great - short walk to the black beach and church and the lava show was just on the next street.
We are so glad we stayed at her guesthouse.
The hostess was so nice! She showed us the apartment and made us homemade cheese which was absolutely divine! She also recommended some local restaurants that were very close to apartment and very delicious. She told us when and where to observe the puffins. This was our favorite thing we did staying in Vik. The apartment had all necessary equipment to cook at home which we did one night. The beds were comfortable and apartment was cozy. We enjoyed our stay very much! Thank you!
A cute and cozy Nordic stay! It was clean and neat, and had everything that we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, and the bathroom/shower was a great size. The two bedrooms were perfect for our stay with 4 adults. It was a great place to relax after a long day of exploring Iceland. We especially liked the location for our exploration of the south coast- waterfalls and glacier lagoons.
