Wonderful people, with a very warm greeting. They answered all our questions, and were willing to help more. (BTW, she is an amazing artist.)
The host, the apartment and the location are great.
Great apartment in an excellent location. The owners live on the property and provided lots of assistance when needed, but were not obtrusive. The apartment is located a couple blocks from downtown, four blocks from a Kronan store, and two blocks from the city pool facilities. This was my 9th visit to Akureyri and I know the city pretty well. I don't think you could get a better location, nor do I think you will get better hosts. It was a pleasure to stay at Helgimagri Apartment. I will try to rent this apartment on my next trip to Aureyri in June of 2026.
Perfect place to explore Akureyri and nearby. Reccomended!!
