The breakfast was adequate and suited us very well.
Quiet and relaxing area. Rooms were nice and clean. A glass of wine in the hot tub after a full day of hiking was perfect.
It was perfection. The initial view as you approach the property was breathtaking, Check in was wonderful and we were walked to our room and shown the amenities (first time that happened in the 2 weeks we had been in Iceland. Accommodations were lovely. The experimental kitchen meals were creative, delicious, and visually stunning.
The venue and the setting is perfect, very serene and quaint. The cathedral right next door adds to the charm. The open fields and the lake also make a beautiful setting. The staffs were very friendly, and the food is excellent in b their restaurant.
Quiet, peaceful location. Friendly staff. Lots of history on the property.
