Very charming home. Akureyri was easily accessible. Quiet, comfortable. Dorothea was very responsive and even gave us unsolicited and valuable advice about our travel itinerary. Comfortable, homey, cozy decor. And there is even a convenience store around the corner.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. The location was excellent as a base for traveling northern Iceland and very close to downtown Akureyri. The rocking chair in the kitchen was a comfortable touch. The covered patio was great day and night, rain or shine. I felt like I was staying at a relatives home. The host reached out to make sure everything was OK. All the comforts of home and very comfortable bed. All around an excellent choice.
Everything in this house was spot on. We loved the place very much. All the amenities, spacious bedrooms and kitchen were well equipped and we felt like we walked in to our home. We would love to visit again.
It's 3 room apartment with all you need. The apartment looks like its residents just went away for shopping or something and leave everything. The kitchen is fully equipped including some specs.
