Our stay at the apartment near Lake Akureyri was fantastic, offering spacious accommodations for four people in a clean and well-equipped space. We were thrilled to see the mesmerizing Aurora Borealis from the hill just an 8 minute drive away from our rented place. The apartment's kitchen utensils made it easy to prepare our meals, and having parking available was an added bonus for our convenience.
Great apartment on quiet street, convenient to a Bonus supermarket and downtown. Loved the art in the apartment as well - enjoyed reading the little placards for each piece.
The apartment had everything our family of four needed. It was clean and quiet. Great location, too.
This is a fantastic property in every respect. The apartment is huge. It’s on 2 floors and has two full bathrooms (second one is by front door downstairs). The hot tub and outdoor shower are fantastic and apparently heated by geothermal power. Everything is sparkling clean, and the furnishings are lovely. What made this my absolute favorite accommodation in all of Iceland was the art collection. The owner added information cards next to each piece of artwork which were fascinating, and I spent most of the 4 nights there looking through the impressive collection of art books.
Second time staying at this place. Very comfortable, in a great location. Great beds.
