The location is excellent, within walking distance of so much! The staff who checked me in (David from Spain!) & bartenders were so kind & helpful. The Loft (rooftop bar/cafe) is such a welcoming space, light & airy, plenty to do and lots of people to chat with.

The hostel was friendly, warm and decorated really nicely. The cafe at the top was excellent with very reasonable prices for Iceland. Bed was comfortable and the facilities were kept clean. There were stations where other guests can leave items to be used by others - this is a good idea and helpful for me when I needed a warm hat.

Kitchen has two large refrigerators, many pots nd pans, lots of utensils. It has room darkening curtains. Although on a busy street, we didn’t hear lots of noises.

Love the place! Offered wine beer & snack after coming back from sightseeing. They storage your luggage if you arrive early or stay late.

Centrally located, close to everything. They have a bar upstairs at the registration desk.
