Perfect location right next to the water, really cool museum and several restaurants. It was not what we expected based on the images but we did get a good night sleep (the beds are very comfy), visited the museum and local attractions, and continued with our Ring Road trip.

A house with a soul and good atmosfair. Very clean and comfortable. The best accommadition in Holmavik.

Charming guesthouse (hostel) with shared bathroom and showers which were very clean, I had no qualms with anything and I loved the hot water and great water pressure! Was at the end of town by the water, quiet and quaint.

My family of five, including two 8yr olds and a 5yr old, stayed in the 3BR apartment in August 2024. Note that it is in a separate house, not the one shown in the pictures but nearby. It was very comfortable with a full and functional kitchen. Holmavik is relatively small, so it is near Cafe Riis, the Museum of Witchcraft and Sorcery, and the harbor where you can go on a whalewatching tour with Laki Tours (much less busy than Husavik). Definitely recommend for a larger group with kids.
