I genuinely thought air conditioning was a myth in Spain—until I stayed at this absolute gem of a hotel. I’m not exaggerating when I say the AC here is life-changing. After melting my way through the country, stepping into my room felt like entering a climate-controlled slice of heaven. It was crisp, cool, and consistent—none of that weak fan breeze or barely-there temperature drop. Just glorious, cold air, all day and night. Beyond the AC miracle, the hotel itself is super cute and charming, with thoughtful details and a warm, welcoming vibe. It’s also perfectly located—right in the heart of the city, close to everything you’d want to see or eat. I could easily walk to major attractions, cafés, and shops, then come back and cool off in style. If you’re traveling through Spain during the warmer months and value your sanity (and sleep!), do yourself a favor and book this place. Comfort, charm, and the best AC in the country? It’s a no-brainer.

Great location, ever so slightly off the beaten path

Good location for the A Marisma Hostal that isn’t too far from the Camino route. • Washer/dryer available for a fee. • No AC, but it we did have a stand alone fan in our room.

A nice clean and comfortable room for our Camino walk. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We did not use the kitchen and other facilities available but noted they looked very serviceable and well maintained. Our room was in the front towards the street but was still very quiet and offered a peaceful night's sleep.

I loved this stay! A beautiful, clean room with wifi. After a long day of walking, the bed was comfortable and I was able to really relax. It was also close to many restaurants and shops.
