This was a lovely albergue on the way to Mar de Fora beach. I stayed at this place eight years ago, and it was nice to see that the albergue has maintained the same quality. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and there was a small swimming pool, a charming courtyard, a fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable common area.

The beds were pretty comfortable, do not compare them to your mattress at home. These are the Hostel types mattresses. There were only 3 of us in the whole 8-bed room. It was decently clean, especially the bathroom. Downstairs, the majority of the guests were civil, courteous and respectful of other travellers. The hosts were genuinely helpful. let me tell you why, We were driving from Madrid, and seemed like we would reach the hostel past the check-in time. Calle them several times, no one picked up! Then we turned to Booking customer service , Paola.O was the one who stepped up. Gave her a great review. Eventually we spoke to Rodrigo, assured us that they'd be there no matter what time we reached. They were really friendly and helpful. The tips and recommendations were spot-on! Thank You !

We were in a private room with our own toilet and sink. Towels were provided. Beds were comfortable. A cupboard area was there for your personal belongings.

We checked in very late and the receptionist Dito was very helpful and gave us a good room to ourselves and went out of his way to help us He also offered to keep our bags after check out ao we could explore the place

The staff was very friendly and helpful; the bed was comfortable and with provided blanket. It wasn’t crowded and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook.
