Clean, comfortable, and quiet oasis with good dining.
Just off Camino path with nice garden area. She let me in a bit early
Just off the Camino, so very quiet. Beau garden with bar - very peaceful, good laundry facilities, nice communal meal. Shops within walking distance for anything extra you need
As pilgrims walking the Camino, everything about Albergue San Pelayo was top notch. Husband and wife run the operation and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is the best it can be. Beautifully kept courtyard as well as everything inside, delicious home cooked pilgrims dinner. Breakfast is typical Spanish style of toast and jams, coffee and pastries. Room was clean and fresh. Would stay here again.
It was very rustic homey. Had a fireplace going in a sitting area, which was nice because people were coming in cold. The communal dinner was meh, but fun with everyone. Room was just OK. I gave it a 10 because it was typical pilgrim. The cat greeter was GREAT. And whoever checked me in was AWESOME getting me a taxi for the next morning.
