A short hike from Santiago, this albergue offers many single rooms - a luxury I hadn’t had in months - at a good price. While not very central the grounds themselves are gorgeous and I could spend a full morning just exploring the surrounding gardens.
Excellent, secure facility with anything you might need, including a supermarket! I also liked that the pilgrim credential was mandatory to stay here.
The building is beautiful and everything is really well organized
Close to bus station and right as you come into Santiago so if you don’t want to be in where it is super busy this is the place to be. Nice kitchen, bathrooms, showers, single room options and common areas.
Big place. Well run. A good albergue. Close to the cathedral.
