this albergue is aside the Camino, good kitchen, no bunk beds, in a quiet place and close supermarket and restaurants
This was one of my favorite places on the Camino! The atmosphere is lovely and peaceful and it is very safe feeling. Antonio is such a lovely and welcoming gentleman, one of the kindest people I have ever met. The first place I stayed in Ponferrada, was not safe, at all. After that experience, you have no idea how much and deeply I appreciated the atmosphere, welcome, kindness and safety that was provided. This is an exceptional place to stay.
The host was very very nice, he made us a very nice breakfast. He was so cheerful, we also loved that the hostel had a very nice 6 single bed bedroom. At night it was raining so we had very nice and cold weather. It was a great relief from the hot summer.
On the Camino.
Clean, and spacious.
The host makes great coffee and breakfast.
Location, the over feel of this Alburque. I liked having a smaller room with single
beds and no bunk beds!
