I enjoyed staying in a proper apartment building in Madrid, which helped to experience the city a bit like a local.
Wonderful hostess and great location. Comfortable beds!
Our host was wonderful. Although she spoke little English, and I have little Spanish, she was able to point out points of interest on the map, suggest places to go, and very much encouraged us to do a day trip to Toledo. (Which was wonderful!) There was complementary tea, coffee and muffins in the apartment, she made sure we were comfortable and even checked in to see if we had enough blankets on a chilly night (we did!). The apartment complex was secure and quiet.
Location, facilities, peace and quiet and our lovely landlady. Rayes is an absolute star and has a vast knowledge of Madrid she is happy to share with her guests. The apartment was spotless and ready when we arrived early.
Everything was great! Mrs Reyes is wonderfull. We seen beautifule Madrid and could sleep very well. Greetings!
