very nice peaceful location, lovely views, a lot of space, wonderful birdsong
Magnificent view, calm surroundings, far away from the touristic part of the island. Javier was an extremely friendly and helpful host, who gave us great ideas, what to visit on the island. Fully equipped kitchen, big terrace, comfortable bed with thick bed coverings to be warm at night, heating in the room, spacoius refrigerator, parking place. We were alone dort and had out privacy which we valued a lot.
The room was spacious with a nice bathroom that had a bathtub (important thing for me ;-)).
- We had a kitchen for ourselves and a private big terrace. I very much liked to sit there for breakfast and enjoy the view on the mountains and ocean.
- The owner was incredibly helpful - he gave us hints on the best local restaurants and places to see, and whenever we needed something, he was always trying to accommodate our needs. That felt very kind, and much more 'at home' than 'at the hotel'.
- I also liked that the house was located in a quiet place and we had privacy, and weren't surrounded by other tourists. We rented a car to go to places we wanted to see, so it was a good starting point for our trips.
Overall it was a great place to stay for us, especially for the price that wasn't too high, comparing to other places that I looked at.
