The wi-fi was good, the common facilities (kitchen, bathroom) also fine, the staff was not physically present but very nice and supportive via WhatsApp
I really enjoyed my stay at Akelarre! The staff went out of their way to help me and were incredibly accommodating. The hostel itself was really clean and quiet in a really nice area with only 3 metro stops from the center. Cute main area and overall the best hostel experience I've had so far in Spain.
Really appriciated the fact that the heating was on during evenings, cause many hostels do not put it on ( i mean, even the minimum, having energy savings on mind of course). Mercadona and some nice bars are close, center is 20min walking distance, and it is quite enjoyable walk
Very accessible from the centre. Host was very kind and did everything to make sure my stay was perfect. Facilities are clean and well-kept.
Bed was comfy, nice to have a curtain and outlet. Seemed pretty clean as well.
