We had a very comfortable 3-night stay. We had originally booked 2 nights, but when we saw the apartment and beautiful, peaceful surroundings, we immediately decided to add another night. Jon is a very hospitable, attentive host who is eager to share his knowledge of the area and attractions to visit. We so enjoyed meeting him and his wife. And the location of the apartment is ideal if you’re looking for a tranquil space that is still within easy reach of restaurants and shopping (15 minutes by car to Gernika). Highly recommend!

Host Jon and wife Nina were super friendly and welcoming. Jon supplied excellent instructions for finding the house which is out in the countryside but within easy reach of the beaches and Guernika.
Jon gave us loads of information about the local area, places to visit and most importantly restaurants to eat in! The accommodation was well done, clean and well equipped. Spacious private terrace over looking the garden orchard,comfy sofa and large fridge were good to have and a lovely bathroom with shower
Great location, quiet and in the middle of the nature but yet not far from all the highlights in the area. The apartment is very well equipped, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. And Jon loves his region, he shared a lot of great tips with us. That made our stay even nicer.
What a friendly and hospitable hosts. It's been a while since I last met a Host who really shines in his role. We felt at home right from the first day we met. They should be hired by Basque Country as representative. Thanks for the travel tips Jon! Also enjoyed the very specious terras, partly covered by overhanging roof, parkingplace right next to the entrance. Great surroundings, 15min to exceptional beach. Tip we received from host: check the (quite amazingly) affortable train for local trips too. Kind regards Joyce and Marnix.
