The cosy apartment is at a great location in Albaicin. Rafael, the owner, is so helpful and responsive. He welcomes you in the apartment and shows you around. The kitchen has everything you need to cook (there was even a very good olive oil)
The apartment is equipped with an AC and a heater. The TV is huge and there are even some board games.
Host was wonderful - very responsive to anything that came up. Location was great, and garden was lovely. Kitchen had what we needed.
Excellent location in the heart of the Albaycin neighborhood. Located on pedestrian path just minutes from the road, cafes and miradors. It’s the ground floor of the family’s home. Guests have their own side of the garden to enjoy with a large umbrella covered table. The small courtyard has lemon, fig and a pomegranate tree. Roses, jasmine and other flowering trees as well as herbs! The suite is very quiet, naturally cool and traditionally decorated with lots of cupboard/closet space and a desk. Important for us as we stayed a month. Very comfortable bed. It is a basement so not a lot of natural light, which is a plus when you want to sleep on a Spanish schedule!
It was clean, cozy and private. The host was really informative about the facilities and gave us directions regarding everything that was around so we can find everything easier.
Instructions were clear on how to find property, what to do once you arrived, and information on pool bbq given before arrival. Rafael, a warm and lovely person, greeted us. He gave plenty of information on our stay. Checked throughout our stay if we needed anything.
The property was in the basement. It was big enough for 2. There are cooking facilities such as hob and microwave (would have liked an oven but this is personal choice).
The bed for me was perfect, It is a hard mattress which I loved. Also extra pillows which was a big thumbs up.
There is a lovely seating area (up some steps)
There is a lovely pool area. (You have to book) This was not a problem for us.
The property is near restaurants, cafes, and food shops.
The buses are plentiful. We did not use these.
We have been to the area 3 times now. If we do ever come back, we would stay here.
We would highly recommend staying. Especially because Rafael would look after you.
