We really enjoyed our stay at Hostel Alcazar. It's a lovely family run hostel, with all members of the staff being very friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple but comfy and clean and set in lovely buildings that are bright and airy. The location is also great, right next to the Alcazar in the old part of the city and only a few minutes walk to the Roman bridge and mezquita.

Excellent location close to everything I wanted to see in Cordoba.

This hostel is owned and lived in by hostess Fernando and his lovely wife so they keep it well maintained. Their English is minimal but they try hard to make you welcome. It is uniquely decorated with plently of their memorbillia. Beds are comfortable. Location is great. It does not feel like a hostel, more like a rooming house. It served our needs for 3 nights and we enjoyed our stay.

The place is absolutely lovely, has charm, is in the most beautiful historical center, and the owners are the most lovely, funny and sweet people! The room felt very private and comfortable and the price was just amazing, for all the accomodations it provided.
